Zack Love
/Zackery (Zack) Love is a 2018 U.S. Presidential Scholar from Talladega, Alabama, and a two-time alumnus of George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health, culminating most recently in a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a specialization in health policy. He works for the Health Care Delivery Management Administration at the District of Columbia’s Department of Health Care Finance, DC’s managerial body for the city’s public insurance programs.
His portfolio spans a range of policy and finance strategies aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery, accessibility, and quality for District residents. He has had the special privilege of supporting healthcare reform initiatives for the District’s infants and children, as well as for those experiencing homelessness or reintegrating from incarceration.
Zack volunteers to support various causes around the DC area, particularly liking work with the National Park Service and the Trust for the National Mall. Having grown up on a honeybee farm, he especially enjoys welcoming global visitors to the White House Gardens annually.
